Stephanie Hsu: Student Council

Stephanie Hsu is a freshman Political Science and Economics major from Boston, Mass. She is the freshman Senator of Authorization on Student Council and a cellist in the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra. Stephanie is excited to be a part of Hopkins Top Model and is looking forward to supporting such a great cause.
Emma Mann-Meginniss

Emma Mann-Meginniss: Kappa Alpha Theta

Emma is a senior International Relations major originally from Brooklyn, NY. She has been a member of Theta and is currently the Vice President of Finance. She also works for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions as a student worker and volunteer. Emma is a nationally ranked horseback rider and plans to attend law school after graduation.

Ashley is a freshman Neuroscience major who enjoys participating in Model United Nations, the Student Health Advisory Committee, la Organizacion Latina Estudantil, playing soccer, and dancing with the Johns Hopkins Ballet Company and the Ladybirds Dance Team.

Dana Covit is a sophomore majoring in Writing Seminars and Political Science, and is a member of Phi Mu. She is from East Brunswick, New Jersey (the Garden State! - not so dirty!), and writes for the Events section of the Hopkins News-letter. She has stage fright and is hoping not to fall on her face during the show.

Suruchi Dewoolkar was born and raised Bergen County, New Jersey. She's a Senior Neuroscience Major. She can be found eating, studying, cutting up mouse brains, or laughing like a hyena around campus. She is involved in a lot of campus activities and is especially proud of her Indian culture. She's representing SASH in this event and plans to show you What Brown Can Do For You, na mean?

Amelia Hritz is a Junior and majoring in Mathematics. She is from New York City. She loves Alpha Phi and is so proud to be representing them in Hopkins Top Model! Alpha Phi is a Greek sorority here on the Homewood campus which promotes student involvement and activities.

Natalie Baer: HAPA

Natalie Baer is a Half-Singaporean/Half Pennsylvania Dutch Senior International Studies major. She is one-time taekwondo-er and Habitat for Humanity chair and DJ. HAPA means half. She just wants the world to be a better place, and will be representing HAPA multicultural club to help stop the poppy economy.

Kate Mercogliano: Students for Choice

Kate Mercogliano is an International Relations major here at the Johns Hopkins University. She is representing Students for Choice which is an organization that supports the legal right of women and girls to choose whether or not to continue a pregnancy to term. Kate’s group nominated her as the perfect model for the poppy cause.

Catherine is junior International Relations major. She is representing Octopodes, an a cappella group on campus. She is also part of Kappa Alpha Theta here on the Homewood campus. Catherine Pross likes to listen to music, hangout and go to Starbucks. Her favorite television show is Nip/Tuck.

Courtney Twardy is a freshman. She is representing MSE Symposium. MSE Symposium is an entirely student run organization that raises funds, organizes, and publicizes the events (a free speech by a politician, celebrity or activist) in their entirety. Similar to her goals with MSE, she loves to raise awareness and decided to participate in Top Model!

Tasmim (Shalmi) Anwar: Hopkins Bengali Organization

Tasmim Anwar (Shalmi) is excited to be competing in Vision Exchange's Top Model, because secretly she takes several modeling pictures of herself, and this is her first real chance to be become one! More importantly, Shalmi is eager to help out in raising awareness and funds for such a good cause. She is representing Hopkins’ Bengalis!!!

Thalia is a freshman from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, majoring in International Relations. She is of Greek origin and her heritage is a huge part of her life. She loves to travel, learn about different cultures, shop, and hang out with my friends and family. She loves the mission of Vision XChange and serves to promote causes as Public Relations Chair.

Brittney Young: Hopkins Outreach for Pediatric Education

Brittney Young is a sophomore at Hopkins majoring in Public Health and psychology. She is very active on campus as a member of the Black Student Union, Multicultural Student Volunteers and most of all, Hopkins Outreach for Pediatric Education, which improve the care of severely ill and injured children in Maryland

Pouya Hemmati: Iranian Cultural Society.

He is pre-med freshman neuroscience major. He thinks the event has a legitimate cause that needs to be propagated in the Johns Hopkins community. He is representing the Iranian Cultural Society which hosts a slew of programs to promote Iranian culture. If he’s not studying or buried in a mountain of homework, he is playing a sport!

Young Joo: Inter-Asian Council

Young is a junior from Fairfax, VA majoring in Public Health. He entered the contest because he truly supports what Vision XChange stands for. His day starts at 5:30 in the morning with Army ROTC. His favorite thing to do is to take his Rover off-roading and go rock crawling and mudding on trails.

Keshav Khanijow: Diverse Sexuality and Gender Alliance

Keshav Khanijow is a junior studying Anthropology/Neuroscience. He is active in the LGBT Community and loves doing community service projects with Animals! He is a big fan of South and Southeast Asian Art, and enjoys travelling and exploring/learning about world cultures.

Adam Reiffen is a freshman double majoring in Anthropology and Romance Languages - French, Italian and Portuguese. He’s representing his acapella group, in this competition, and if you ever need to identify him, He is the guy walking around campus singing "jen ja jen jen ja jen ja jen jen" or beat boxing incessantly.

Brian Pascal is a freshman football player majoring in Business and Economics. He is from Edison New Jersey. He is representing Football in this year’s Hopkins Top Model. He is known for his good looks and charm all over campus. He is a perfect model to be supporting such a terrific cause: Stop the Poppy Economy!

Joseph is a senior at Hopkins and is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He loves to do things in the snow. He is originally from Florida but now lives in New jersey and in the future he plans to plans to attend Medical school.

Tom is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and is part of the Johns Hopkins class of 2010. He is a Computer Engineering major and is interested in basketball, baseball, and singing for his band. He looks forward to participating in Hopkins Top Model and hopes that everyone from his fraternity will be there to support him.

Maurice Hinson is a senior here at Hopkins and is a Member of The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Alpha Phi Alpha is one of the most prestigious black fraternities in the country. The chapter is new here at Hopkins and many are proud to see it. Maurice is an active student and is also a Residential Advisor.

Colin is a sophomore here at Hopkins and is a member of the Alpha Delta Phi Fraternity. He is also a member of the JHU Football team. Alpha Delta Phi was founded in 1832 at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York by Samuel Eells (1810-1842). Alpha Delta Phi is known to us as Wawa!

Chris Doscas: Sigma Alpha Epsilon

Chris Doscas is a sophomore here at Hopkins and is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. SAE is North America’s largest social fraternity with more than 280,000 initiated members. Chris is currently Studying Political Science and Business and Management.

Sean McCreery: Water Polo

Sean is a senior at Hopkins and is a member of the Johns Hopkins Water Polo Team. Sean was named to the Collegiate Water Polo Association All-South team. McCreery earned All-South honors in 2005 and 2006. He is from Pleasant Hill California and is majoring in Public Health.

Connor McKinney: Baseball

Connor is part of the Johns Hopkins Class of 2010 and is also a member of the Baseball team here. Baseball is America’s favorite sport. Baseball men are strong, spirited and confident: Connor is no exception. Aside from baseball, he is also is currently studying economics and business.
