AfterCollege Engineering Student Scholarship

AfterCollege is offering a scholarship for students currently seeking a bachelors, masters or doctorate in the field of Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science! This scholarship will be given four times annually.

The deadlines are March 31,  June 30, September 30 and December 31.

Technical University of Munich Scholarship

The Technical University of Muncih is offering one or two  for students to study or do research work. The scholarship offers students a monthly stipend of 600 Euros, covering 75% of monthly expenses, which are currently estimate at 800 Euros. They also offer students roooms in student housing which cost 335 Euros. The scholarhisp would be for the winter semester, which runs roughly October to February/March or the spring semester which runs from April to July. It would most likely be possible to extend this period in either direction by at least a month.

Gates Cambridge Scholarships are available to outstanding young men and women from outside the United Kingdom who wish to pursue a full-time graduate degree in any subject offered at the University of Cambridge. Scholarships are awarded on intellectual ability, leadership potential, social commitment and a good match between the candidate and the University of Cambridge.

2010 Vredenburg Scholarship

The Vredenburg Scholarship is a competitive scholarship open to sophomore and junior EN majors for a co-curricular experience abroad in the summer. The 2010 applications are available in the Office of Engineering Advising and are due March 3, 2010.

Applicants secure an experience and submit the proposal in their application. Typically proposals are research, a service project, or an internship. The experience is for a minimum of eight (8) weeks. Those interested in learning more may visithttp://engineering.jhu.edu/vredenburg-scholarship/ or attend an upcoming information session:

Friday, 11/20 from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Tuesday, 12/1 from 12:00-1:00 p.m.
