Novartis Summer Research Internship Program
Novartis is currently seeking students who are looking for hands on pharmaceutical research experience (June13 - August 12, 2011) in the form of a paid, full-time summer internship at our Cambridge, MA location. Novartis has numerous opportunities for students who are interested in gaining experience within the drug discovery field.
Data Control Assistant
Under direction, assists in the administration and management of cancer clinical research programs, drug company studies and other protocols in the Division of Hematology & Oncology: facilitates the enrollment, treatment and data collection of research subjects; generates study-specific eligibility checklists, calendars; assists in screening potential subjects; registers eligible subjects; follows subjects according to planned treatment protocol; advises research team of required laboratory and radiographic evaluations; assists in coordinating schedule of events; reports all serious adverse events to Institutional Review Board; maintains updated subject files; coordinates the follow-up of off treatment subjects; coordinates site visits and audits of clinical trials; maintains research records; performs other job related duties as required.
Hopkins Undergraduate Research Journal
The Hopkins Undergraduate Research Journal (HURJ) is currently seeking submissions of scientific articles from students in the various departments in the Whiting School of Engineering for its upcoming Spring 2010 issue and is now seeking submissions of engineering research articles.
Ostermeier Lab Openings
The Ostermeier lab is pleased to announce the opportunity for up to three undergraduates to gain research experience in our lab. Freshman, sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply. The ability to stay for the summers and intersession is a requirement of these positions. Some funds are available to help with living expenses during the summer months.
