Intel is coming to campus this Friday 2/18 for an open house.  There will be two events at the Sherwood Room in Levering Hall:

1. Corporate Overview Presentation, 11:30 am - 1 pm, lunch served

Learn about Intel’s transformation from a PC chip company to a computing solutions company, and the opportunities available for interns and new grads.

2. Open House, 1-3:30 pm

Chat with an Intel representative about internships and full-time opportunities for students

Intel Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop software tools, algorithms, physical models, and methodologies to support the development and optimization of leadership process technologies and device architectures. Specific duties will include active participation in defining the modeling and simulation tool scope, development of tools, algorithms, physical models and methodologies, and application of modeling capabilities to understand fundamental issues in process/device design to accelerate technology development. The individual is expected to actively participate in process technology teams as well as specific tool development teams. Development and application areas include advanced device transport, quantum effects, electronic structure, novel device and memory operation, optoelectronics, mesh generation, software architecture and numerical methods for device problems. The responsibilities will include software and model development, data analysis and support of external interactions.
