ExxonMobil Internship

ExxonMobil is looking to fill a paid internship opportunity at their Clinton, NJ laboratory.

The position involves research and development in the area of heavy hydrocarbon chemistry and process technology.

ExxonMobil is interested in undergraduate or graduate students with laboratory experience in organic chemistry who have a good understanding of organic chemistry. Candidates can be chemists or chemical engineers.

The position is available immediately and can extend through August or even September. End date is to be determined by the student. Pay is $6,500/month plus a housing allowance.

The program is cutting edge refining technology.

2010 Vredenburg Scholarship

The Vredenburg Scholarship is a competitive scholarship open to sophomore and junior EN majors for a co-curricular experience abroad in the summer. The 2010 applications are available in the Office of Engineering Advising and are due March 3, 2010.

Applicants secure an experience and submit the proposal in their application. Typically proposals are research, a service project, or an internship. The experience is for a minimum of eight (8) weeks. Those interested in learning more may visithttp://engineering.jhu.edu/vredenburg-scholarship/ or attend an upcoming information session:
