Job Description
Bristol-Myers Squibb will have approximately 20 positions for summer intern program in Pharmaceutical Development for Summer 2010. The program typically starts just after Memorial day and continues for 10 weeks into mid-August. Students must present their work at the intern symposium at the end of the summer.

Responsibilities
Pharmaceutical Development is recruiting summer interns for various projects in Process R&D, Biopharmaceutics, Protein Therapeutics Process Development, Analytical R&D, and Clinical Supply Manufacturing. Interns will partner with a professional mentor to complete a summer project related to chemical or biological process development, pharmaceutical and biological product formulation, assay development, or manufacturing. Interns will present the work to their student peers and participating departments at the end of summer.
Job Requirements
Applicants should be a candidate for Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering. Basic knowledge about the pharmaceutical development process would be helpful. Candidate needs to demonstrate problem solving abilities: good oral and written communication skills, ability to maintain flexibility and open mindedness in a rapidly moving and changing R&D driven environment.
