Hi Dr. Gray!
I hope you are doing well at Hopkins! As I told you before I finished my BS/MS program this January, I joined Epic Systems Corporation, a national leader in software development for healthcare systems. Our software improves patient care, reduces costs and saves lives. We’re recognized across the country as a leader in the field, and we’ve seen rapid growth every year for more than a decade. I am getting trained as a Project Manager so that I can help coordinate software roll-outs at some of the largest hospital networks across the country.
All that growth means that we’re constantly looking for smart, motivated people, which means we’re looking for people like Hopkins ChemBEs. Especially with this economy, I just wanted to make sure all those looking for jobs knew about Epic because we are still hiring strong, especially with the new stimulus package out that has specific clauses promoting electronic medical records. We have technical roles such as Software Developers and Technical Services and non-technical positions such as Project Management, Software Testing, Training, and several other areas.
