UKY REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) Program this summer is a 10 week summer research program for rising seniors or juniors (must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents) with a multidisciplinary focus on Engineered Bioactive Interfaces and Devices.Programs at Univ of KY involved in this REU include Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Students will be co-advised by two faculty members in these programs and will also be mentored by Ph.D. students in our newly established NSF/IGERT (Integrative Graduate Education and Research Training) Program. This is a great opportunity for undergraduate students who may have an interest in graduate school to work on research during the summer break.
