JHU's Fall of the Wall Festival is coming up!
It is the start of a new semester and German Club is excited to continue its famous Stammtisch and cultural outings. Even more exciting is the week-long series of events commemorating the 20th anniversary of the "Fall of the Wall", November 2nd through the 9th. Check back for more info soon!
The JHU German Club hosts a bi-monthly conversation table at 6 p.m. at local restaurants We invite beginners through advanced, faculty, grad students, and native speakers to practice their German in an informal and fun setting.
Stammtisch Dates are set! Come join us at Nolan's on Wednesday, September 9th at 6pm for the Stammtisch in Fall 2009. We will discuss future locations for Stammtisch, positions within German Club and upcoming events!
The dates for the rest of the semester are: September 23, October 7, October 21, November 4*, November 18, and December 2 at 6pm. Mark your calendars!
We are hoping to host some Filmabende this semester, so if you have any suggestions or have any films you would like to watch, please email me at michael.arnst@gmail.com.
And finally, German Club is in desperate need of officers! If you would like to become more involved as either a webmaster, or any other leadership position, let me or Frau Mifflin (our advisor) know.
